Safety Palooza is the kickoff for one of the biggest community celebrations of the year: Frisco Community Awareness Night - Frisco CAN

10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Baylor Medical Center at Frisco

5601 Warren Parkway

First responders will be on-hand all afternoon to answer questions and show off many of their “tools of the trade” used when emergencies happen. See the Police Department’s Traffic Unit demonstrate their competitive motorcycle skills, and peek inside a CareFlite helicopter. The Frisco Fire Department will also have units on scene for show and tell.

The

Frisco Police Honor Guard

will also present colors and hold a 21-gun salute at approximately 10:00 a.m. to kick off Police Memorial Week.

Take advantage of free health screenings, courtesy of Baylor Medical Center at Frisco.

Do you have a safety plan for your family? Dispatchers with the Frisco Police Department’s Communications Division will be providing useful information to get you started. Kids can practice their 911 emergency calls, and children’s fingerprint identification kits will be available at no cost.
